The weather is appalling, thick white frost at 7am this morning which had disappeared by 8 then it’s hammered down all day! Seems to be a lot of blue nails at the moment, no one feels like Spring is anywhere near.
My new Nail Art books have arrived, I need to take a pic, loads to do in them. They’re in German which is a bit of a challenge but I have a handy translator in the house. I’ve been invited on another advanced nail course which looks really good. I’m upset not to be able to attend the Pisut Masanoung classes in May (first time ever in the UK), unfortunately I’m busy but they will be great. This guy is brilliant and it is a real honour to have been invited onto the courses. His attention to detail is second to none and I am hoping he will come back to the UK and do another class very soon. His work is absolutely out of this world, if I can learn even a fraction I would be so happy! Fingers crossed for another course. Karla and Kirsty are on the ball and organising future events.

I’m off to bed now, off to Pro Beauty in London tomorrow to have a look at what’s out there and get some new gels, lashes and generally swot up on what’s new in the industry! Got my comfy boots ready as it’s going to be a long day.

The main website is coming along now, I still have writer’s block wondering what to put on each page. I’ve done it all before and it’s hard starting it over again without using the same phrases. I’m petsitting with my Pawsindoors head on at the moment and taking the dogs home to do nail and lash appointments.
I bought a pack of sharpies to have a play with, there are some interesting effects with these. There are a lot of lovely images on Facebook, they give a beautiful marble effect. NOT to be used on eyebrows! I’ve had a play but I’m away from my kit so cant wait to get back properly on Friday!
First of all there was Christmas, I flew up to Sunderland to spend it with Dad and friends, leaving Jim at home! I arrived back in Dorset January 31st, squeezed a few clients in before travelling to Eastbourne for a few days ( a few treatments over there!) before leaving for Goa. I’d planned to update the blog from Goa but the WiFi was only in the bars so I was otherwise occupied! Holiday over now so it’s time to crack on with 2015.
I’m finally settling back in to a routine and getting the site and advertising and promotion work sorted.
