Yes, I know I am six months late publishing these nails to the blog! What can I say… events overtook me 🙂 These are some of my Christmas designs.

Susie’s always loved Shellac Hot Chillis, and being a florist, began having hand painted flower nail art on accent nails. Over the years these have progressed to ladybirds, robins, toadstools and even a painting of her little dog Nutty. One Stroke poppies, pansies, seasonal designs with holly, ivy, Halloween designs and her favourite classic Dior Half Moons which she used to practice in the sixties, also being a model for the Dior School.
With reinforcement over her natural nails and regular IBX treatments Susie’s nails have remained strong and healthy and her nail art is a talking point wherever she goes!
Susie was off on a holiday and wanted a reminder of her little dog Nutty. I painted a few samples first before attempting it on her nails. Remembrance Day was also coming up so I did a One Stroke poppy on her right hand accent fingernail.
Lots of glitter and handpainted robins and baubles this year, and not all of it red!
It’s almost a brand New Year and a fresh new start for me. I’m away on holiday from 8th – 27th January then after that, I get my head down and get stuck in! I am booked on a couple of new courses to further my skills, one for nail art and one for lashes. I need to get the main site finished which I hope to do over Christmas…fingers crossed!
Have a great Christmas and Best Wishes for 2015
I finally managed to get down to some new Christmas designs. I’m not doing ‘cute’ and definitely no minions! I have a list a mile long of other Things To Do, as I cross one off  I seem to  add another. I still need to finish this site, get a price list sorted and move forward.  On a plus side I have organised all my stationery, client record cards, storage and all Christmas cards are written.
I’ve had a few days home alone (he was in Malaga!) and had a great time prancing about in a tidy house – apart from my studio which ended up in a glittery pigmented mess! Susie has asked for Robins on her nails for her Christmas appointment so I had a play with them too. This time she had holly details on ring fingers.
I created an advent calendar last year with different nail art each day. Looking back is interesting but I have to move forward! These are the swatches for this year. Below these are some previously designed swatches I painted for 2013.
These are a few designs from last year. All handpainted no stamping!
