Nail Art, Glitter and Stamping. Nails that I haven’t posted on the blog yet. I’m still deciding what pictures to include in the site’s Gallery. Meanwhile, the blog is as good a place as any to post. Clients are feeling Autumn coming on, colours are getting darker, though glitter is still very popular. Click on the pics to enlarge.

Pink Rock Star Glitter Nails

These pastel nails were a last minute design. Transparent foils over various pastel gel polish. Colours chosen by the client. The Peach nails were mine, gel polish over acrylic infil. I painted and stamped them for my London trip to finish off the cake. I knew I had a lot of gold to paint and thought this would disguise any splatters. I hated these nails, they lasted 1 week and were filed off! I don’t like peach!

This is Ink London i79. It is a stunning colour, a real inky blue with red tones to it. Really popular that week, I used it 4 times on various clients. Definitely on the re-order list.

Was that Summer? Time to show the Summer Toes while it lasts!

Summer toes We’ve had a few lovely days, punctuated with black clouds and rain in Dorset. It’s a time to get those summer toes on show and glitter has been really popular. The sun really makes them gleam!

Fingers crossed we get a few more hot and bright days over the next few weeks. Foils can really catch the light, with many designs on offer. Simpe plain metallic foils to full patterned holographic prints. Handpainted nail art or stamping can further embellish the toes. Neon Pigments are perfect for the toes, bright and fun with limitless variations. From a simple colour polish to full on Nail Art, I can create something for you.

Gelish Toes with Gold holographic glitter

Silver glitter base with chunky holographic hexagon glitter highlights

The toes on the left are created using Gelish My Fobidden Love with Gold holographic glitter pressed into the big toes and as on the tips of the remaining toes. These were created to match a wedding outfit. The toes on the right have a silver base gel polish then fine silver glitter burnished onto it. Chunky holographic hexagon glitter was then added to catch the light. This is stunning in the sunlight.

Toenails can last weeks as toenails don’t grow as quickly as fingernails. Some go as long as 8 weeks before a fresh set. Ideal for holidays as they are chip and maintenance free.

Gelish matching fingers and toes using Good Gossip. Very sparkly in the sunlight. This lady’s right big toe had been kicked and the corner was missing so I built it up to match the other toe.

Tiffany, Foils and Bling

Tiffany coloured nails with foil accents

Gorgeous colour for holiday nails. These are gel nails with Tiffany style blue and holographic foils on the tips with pearls and diamanté accents for a bit of bling. It’s so hard to reproduce this colour on camera, it’s really beautiful.

These are Shellac Toes with turquoise, lime and aqua foils overlaid then top coated for long lasting chip free holiday toes. These are currently sparkling by the pool in The Gambia.

It’s almost April already!

Where has the year gone so far? It’s Spring at last and the days are brighter and already new shoots are bursting through in the garden! As well as these pansies I’ve already been asked for Daffodil Nail Art and spring flowers and I’m booked to do my ladybird again. I love doing these!

I wanted to do some eclipse inspired nails on Friday but life just got in the way! It’s another 11 years before the next one – I better start now! I manged to get a few good glimpses in Dorset through the breaks in the clouds.

WALAD Logo I have ordered some new cashmere ellipse lashes and cant wait to try them. These are super light but give a denser more fluffy glamorous look. Also in stock are superfine 0.07 and 0.10 lashes for a natural looking eyelash extensions, or these can be applied in multiples to each lash for a volume effect.
