I’ve just gone to download the images from my phone and the Micro SD card has died. Valuable lesson learned… back up daily! I’ve now lost all my images from September. So… still catching up here are May’s nails. Soon be up to date!

Susie’s Nail Art
Floral Design Hand Painted Custom Nail Art – Susie Edwards
Susie’s always loved Shellac Hot Chillis, and being a florist, began having hand painted flower nail art on accent nails. Over the years these have progressed to ladybirds, robins, toadstools and even a painting of her little dog Nutty. One Stroke poppies, pansies, seasonal designs with holly, ivy, Halloween designs and her favourite classic Dior Half Moons which she used to practice in the sixties, also being a model for the Dior School.
With reinforcement over her natural nails and regular IBX treatments Susie’s nails have remained strong and healthy and her nail art is a talking point wherever she goes!
Susie was off on a holiday and wanted a reminder of her little dog Nutty. I painted a few samples first before attempting it on her nails. Remembrance Day was also coming up so I did a One Stroke poppy on her right hand accent fingernail.

February Blues
The weather is appalling, thick white frost at 7am this morning which had disappeared by 8 then it’s hammered down all day! Seems to be a lot of blue nails at the moment, no one feels like Spring is anywhere near.
My new Nail Art books have arrived, I need to take a pic, loads to do in them. They’re in German which is a bit of a challenge but I have a handy translator in the house. I’ve been invited on another advanced nail course which looks really good. I’m upset not to be able to attend the Pisut Masanoung classes in May (first time ever in the UK), unfortunately I’m busy but they will be great. These have been organised by Karla Giles and Kirsty Meakin. See https://www.facebook.com/pisut.masanoung?fref=ts for details of his work. This guy is brilliant and it is a real honour to have been invited onto the courses. His attention to detail is second to none and I am hoping he will come back to the UK and do another class very soon. His work is absolutely out of this world, if I can learn even a fraction I would be so happy! Fingers crossed for another course. Karla and Kirsty are on the ball and organising future events.
I’m off to bed now, off to Pro Beauty in London tomorrow to have a look at what’s out there and get some new gels, lashes and generally swot up on what’s new in the industry! Got my comfy boots ready as it’s going to be a long day.
